Very cozy, very homely! Great for stopping off on hikes through the surrounding area

We got the address from the Feinschmecker-a little attached- and drove there from Jachenau holiday resort. We wanted to dine there. We ate wonderfully during this -COVID- time too. The crust roast is a poem and the pork, along with everything freshly made, has a crispy crust that tastes like “more. " I tried the deer goulash which was also great. Chatting a little with boss who just had some time. Service very friendly and the atmosphere in this house also in terms of taste, how do you say "fits" well. On our next vacation we will be back 👍😊 the people of Düsseldorf

The klosterschänke has very friendly staff and the premises are very inviting, I would say that you immediately feel at home. All in all, if I want to enjoy very good food from friendly people in a beautiful restaurant then I can and will recommend the monastery tavern imma.

Good home-style cuisine, nice service, all Corona hygiene regulations are implemented in the best possible way. That's how it should be.

Excellent food

Very good food, hearty and home-style. Easy parking. Toilets accessible. However, there are ysteps towards the guest room. Therefore ask beforehand whether it is also suitable for the disabled. Also ask if there is a disabled toilet. I didn't see them.

The food was excellent as always and the service was friendly. Sensible implementation of covid19 measures!

But as I said, it was busy. Nevertheless, just then you could check more often.

We always like to come back here, the restaurant is quaint, the staff great, the food delicious and lovingly prepared. In Corona times, when everyone is tense and quickly annoyed, everyone here remains calm and patient, despite strict rules. Five stars!!

Great food, communicative, by no means intrusive, very nice service. Unfortunately, the seating was very relaxed due to Corona, and the flair is lost. The traditional roast pork with potato dumplings was brought after a long wait. Unfortunately, the spices were very lacking. Very little crust. Potato dumplings and unseasoned meat. Despite adding salt and pepper, it tasted bland. Really a shame.

The food was fantastic. The service was very friendly and courteous. We will go there again.

Super nice old Bavarian restaurant that still pays attention to traditions! It is becoming increasingly rare these days. Food was excellent and the staff not only competent but also warm and personable. Any time! I can only recommend it!

Nice place. The meat in the ragout was maybe a little dry, but otherwise nice. For some reason Sunday lunch was very busy and we had to wait 10mins, so you should book ahead

Nice place. Good food, wonderful cakes. Often weddings.

Upscale rustic ambience. All ordered dishes very well: good portions, deliciously seasoned, meat very well seared. Whether salad with chicken breast strips or crusty roast! Very tasty, come back for sure!

Great traditional local food! they have a beer garden and a wide selection of food. You can book a table for special occasions (Birthday, Wedding day, etc.) and they really make an effort to decorate the table for you! the staff is very friendly, they wear traditional Bavarian clothes, very beautiful!

Very nice food, including a decent vegetarian selection. Also try the cakes!
